Position opened (Specially appointed faculty member)

Niigata University’s Kim Laboratory is inviting applications for a specially appointed faculty position (full-time) for radio channel sounding and channel modeling towards B5G/6G mobile systems (Principal Investigator of sub task: Associate Prof. Minseok Kim). The job is to develop a propagation channel model that realizes highly accurate radio wave simulation according to various applications for B5G/6G via extensive measurement campaigns using the sub-6GHz, millimeter-wave, and terahertz band channel sounders. We are looking for young researchers who want to challenge the abovementioned tasks, specializing in communication engineering, radio wave propagation, digital signal processing, measurement engineering, control engineering, or other related fields.

新潟大学金研究室では，B5G/6Gに向けた様々なアプリケーションに応じて高精度な電波模擬を実現する伝搬チャネルモデルの開発を行っています．これまで構築したSub-6GHz，ミリ波，テラヘルツ帯チャネルサウンダを用いて，伝搬チャネル測定及びチャネルモデルの開発を行います．このような研究開発に挑戦したいと思う，通信工学，電波伝搬，デジタル信号処理，計測工学，制御工学，あるいは，これらの周辺分野を専門とする若手研究者を募集しています。
